Reasons of Unnecessary wars in Pakistan .

Since the creation of Pakistan different kind of  Wars taken among years 1948, 1965, 1971, 1999 and then war on terror initiated  on 2001 in  our northern border and still going on  in different patches of North Waziristan.

Standard ISPR Press Release.

As usual our ISP taken task of raising the moral of countrymen and soldiers high , surely keeping national interests in mind .The over summary of success issued after the wars are same whatever the real ground realities are ”

The victory of Pakistan taken place in three wars with India.  Pakistan defeated India in war of Azad Kashmir in 1948, indo-Pak war 1965 and kargil war 1999.
Pakistan won against India in Azad Kashmir War 1948 with freed of one-third Kashmir. The Indo-Pak war in 1965 Pakistan army successfully defend their country. Although India claim that 1965 war was a war on level i-e 50-50 no one wins nor lose but still Pakistan got victory in this war. Finally the major success was taken place by Pakistan in Kargil war 1999. In kargil war Pakistan army destroyed Indian army. Pakistan army was in minority with respect to Indian army, the ration of Pakistan army with Indian army war 1:30 but Pakistan mujaheddin fight with India and finally got victory.”

If situation would have limited to ISPR statement  then surely one should have no objections as it is matter of security concern but such lies of Pandora box has been fixed as part of our history without considering that distortion of real historical  facts can be reason of break down of any nation .Covering failures with false lies  can ensue the inefficiency of any work performance and institutes.

Lets start one by one

First Kashmir War 1947

It was fought between  Pakistan and India  over the region of Kashmir from 1947 to 1948

The objective of the invasion was to capture control of the Kashmir valley including its principal city, Srinagar, the summer capital of the state. The  Operation is named as Gulmarg under Maj gen Akbar khan.File:Kashmir map.jpg

A  UN cease-fire was arranged for the 31 December 1948. A few days before the cease-fire the Pakistanis launched a counter attack, which cut the road between Uri and Poonch. After protracted negotiations a cease-fire was agreed to by both countries, which came into effect. of August 13, 1948,under UN on January 5, 1949. This required Pakistan to withdraw its forces, both regular and irregular, while allowing India to maintain minimum strength of its forces in the state to preserve law and order.

In all, 1,500 soldiers died on each side during the war and Pakistan was able to acquire roughly two-fifths of Kashmir, including five of the  peaks of the world, while India maintained the remaining three fifths of Kashmir, including the most populous and fertile regions.

Second Kashmir war in 1965

The Indo-Pakistani War of 1965 was fought in duration of  April 1965 and September 1965 between two claimers of Kashmir. . The  following Pakistan’s operation Gibralatar was designed to infiltrate forces into J&K to  provided aide to rising insurgency  against  India. The five-week war caused thousands of casualties on both sides.

it was interesting feature of this war which was deleted in our history pages that Major General Akhtar Hussain Malik Qadiayni General of Pak army)  who was commander of that operation made a successful strike across Chamb-Jaurian sector. He captured Akhnoor and was approaching Tawai river. The enemy was dislodged and Indians were planning further withdrawal  but surprrised  moves was  done by General Ayub who was present of Pakistan made a surprised move he called Gen Akthar back from field by giving charge to Gen yahya. It was said that Gen Akthar handed over the command in utter disgust.

Gen Sarfraz Khan who commanded Lahore sector in 1965 in an article in Daily Jang Lahore September 6, 1984 said about this military victory snatched out of the hands of Gen Malik.

Again UN mandated cease firs was announced  with subsequent  Tashkent Declaration.

It was said that war was planned on the orders of US people who have equipped Pak army with one of modern war weaponsand assured victory to our political military leaders against giant India who that period  didnt proceed toward modern technology of war fare.

The another reason of partial failure was poor intelligence that also assured Pak army planners before commencement that discontented  Kashmir people would revolt against Indian rulers. The Kashmiri people, however, did not revolt and Pakistan hardly achieved her goals of vast military operations.

The balance of victory is almost equal on both the side however both declared victory on each other.

As  rough estimate India  gained 1,840 square kilometers of Pakistani territory: 640 square kilometers in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan’s portion of the state; 460 square kilometers of the Sailkot sector; 380 square kilometers far to the south of Sindh; and most critical, 360 square kilometers on the Lahore front. Pakistan took 540 square kilometers of Indian territory: 490 square kilometers in the Chhamb sector and 50 square kilometers around Khem Karan.

Partiton of Pakistan in 1971 war

The autocratic rulers in the western wing  throughout kept dominance on the basis of economic and politician empowerment  on r weak Bengali community in east Pakistan .It had started  developing  huge kind of polarization in east Pakistan since 1948.The established west wing  rulers  were in favor of  a  centralized govt which with a passage of time  proved to be incapable of harmonizing the political and  social repulsive forces emerging from eastern wing of nation.

Under Yayah khan leadership as President and supreme commander of armed forces the whole infrastructure of govt was highly centralised and dominated by army.Although pakistan has deployed 40,000 troops after start of guerilla wars and preceding terrorist activities there but over moral of army and public servants who were imported from west Pakistan was very weakened due to hostility of local. At the beginning of December, Islamabad had realized that the Indians were massing to attack into East Pakistan and they were  being unable to secure  strong  areas  near major roads and railway racks of  larger towns .Indian on the other side moved forces through sodden terrain of Bengal where Bengali local community supported their intervention as Pak army has gained repute of genocide of Bengali group and raping  women folk to demoralize the general public.

Due to lack of strategic reserves available Pakistan couldn’t back the Indian’s advancement and history has recorded on e of shameful  defeat in Pakistan’s account .

On December 15, the Pakistanis requested  cease fire and General Niazi, commander of Pakistan’s forces in Decca, signed an unconditional surrender. The war ended and Bangladesh was a reality.
So this defeat is put in accounts of not only military failures but discredit to political groups who tried to disown a class on the basis of difference of race, language, culture and geography.

Both military repression and political oppression was implemented without a serious  attempt to rectify the causes of grievances’.

Jihad war in 1979

General mohd Ziaulhaq who toppled the govt of Bhutto  had become reason of hanging a poltical icon of Pakistan. That miltiary coup had backed of US who wer intersted of creaitng hurdles in front of Red Army and as usually Pakistani generals were the first who offered their man power as un limited force to all kind of super powers attack.

Zia now found himself in a position to demand billions of dollars in aid for the Mujahideen from the Western states, famously dismissing a United States proposed $325 million aid package as “peanuts”. Pakistan’s ISI andSSG now became actively involved in the conflict, and in cooperation with the Central Intelligence Agency as supported the armed struggle against the Soviets.

The war left deep scars to the Pakistani society with the menace of Kalashnikov culture spreading all over the country. It is estimated that there are currently 20 million firearms in Pakistan, which has a population of about 175 million(as of July 2010) i.e., almost every ninth person has a firearm, most likely an automatic one.The rise of the drug trade and its spread through Pakistan to the rest of the world increased tremendously during the Soviet-Afghan war. Afghanistan’s drug industry began to take off after the Soviet invasion in 1979. Desperate for cash with which to buy weapons, various elements in the anti-Communist resistance turned to the drug trade.

kargil war 1999

Kargil  and siachen borders are considered one of world’ toughest border areas where casualties, injuries  and running cost of maintaining that border due to extreme weather is more than  any expected combat.Kargil before war was considered as  unoccupied  military position. Here each piece of bread for a soldier costs between Rs 50 0 in the high snow-bound mountains. Deaths from frostbite and cold exceed those in actual combat by a ratio of five to one.

It was April 6 in 1999 when the Pakistan army  under the leadership of Gen Musharraf and the Kashmiri insurgents had captured Kargil heights. About 2,000 of them had infiltrated themselves in Drass mountains from where they could direct accurate artillery fire up to 20km of the national highway and cripple the Indian posts.

Pakistan army under the COAS  General Musharraf  had gone to another adventure as an attempt to reach Srinagar after declaration of  Pakistan nuclear test In May 1998.

The Kargil war was an armed conflict that took place between India and Pakistan in year 1999, in district of Kashmir. The reason for this war was due to the infiltration of Pakistani soldiers and Kashmiri militants into Indian Line of control.

Pakistani claims gave two figures. The figure of 357 soldiers dead was challenged by some Pakistani officials, who claimed that 4,000 Pakistani soldiers were killed in the conflict. Pakistan also confirmed that more than 665 Pakistani troops were wounded and 8 were captured. On the other side  527 Indian soldiers, mostly young cadres and officers lost their lives and over 1,000 were injured.Kargil highlighted the gross inadequacies in the surveillance capability, particularly through satellite imagery. There was a complete intelligence failure. The army had no knowledge when actually the Pakistani troops captured the glacial heights of Kargil.

The Indian army launched its final attacks in the last week of July on the Drass sub sector had been cleared of Pakistani forces, the fighting ceased on July 26. The day has since been marked as Kargil Vijay Diwas (Kargil Victory Day) in India. By the end of the war, India had resumed control of all territory south and east of the Line of Control, as was established in Simla Agreement.

It was also said by international media that Pakistan was preparing to use nuclear missiles against India during the Kargil war but refrained after receiving serious warning from Clinton. So this war can be considered as near miss of triggering nuclear arms which are now in range of two rivals of subcontinent where more than 60 % people are living on poverty line.

War on terror started  year 200 1

Following the September 11, 2001 attacks in cities of US  conducted by Saudis nationals were shifted to Pakistani side under the obligatory intelligence reports prepared by CIA and our adventuress commando again missed  no  chance of throwing whole nation into this war which is absolutely taking us toward stone age  patterns.Nobody knows that  whether it was solely Musharraf decision to participate in this war game by expecting all charges of CIA or either this military coup  was encouraged by CIA which followed the incident of 911.

911 incident was complete failure of US military intelligence  , and  break down of airport  security procedures and involvement of Saudi participants were obvious but how it was escalated in thickly populated Muslims areas on the basis of such reports which even can’t foresee the disaster of 911 in heart of superpower.

At initial stage Pak forces along with NATO forces launched different operation to kill or arrest top leadership of Taliban and so-called Al qaeda leadership who were hiding in Pakistan and forming war groups on the basis of religious ideology imported from Wahabi and Deobandi groups. These were almost same men who were once blue boys of establishment and  trained to such an extent that they had launched successful combats against USSR.They all were expert of guerrilla war tactics, suicidal bombing and using all kind of modern weapons.

On February 18, 2010, the Pakistani military confirmed that since September 11, 2001, 2,351 soldiers have been killed in the war and another 6,512 have been wounded. Also, there have been 21,672 civilian casualties (at least 7,598 of these were killed). The military stated that 17,742 militants have been killed or captured Among these, by November 2007, were 488 foreign extremists killed, 24 others arrested and 324 injured. An additional 220 policemen were killed in fighting in 2007 and 2008.

During this 10 years Pakistan army conducted many military operations within soil of Pakistan  for searching top terrorist  including swat operation, FATA, Waziristan, Lal mosque in Islamabad and in response Pakistani public faced hundreds of suicidal attack s  on their lives , property and even GHQ building which is a  symbol of Pakistan security  and it was badly hit by trained terrorists and some handful of terrorists had kept his building and its people  under siege for more than 24 hours.

Conclusions

  • All wars in Pakistan except 1948 were planned when Commander and chief  had all kind of executive powers and control on federation.
  • Almost in all wars Americans backed Pakistani army and only withdrawal its support in 1971 defeat.
  • All Generals under whom these wars are planned and executed  have become richest man of Pakistan and there business ventures are not popualr in Pakistan but they have unlimited assets in all over the world and on the other hand Pakistan and Pakistani public are tending toward worst financial conditions in which even minimal arrangement of living  are not left in their control.
  • Most of wars are executed from Pakistan side on the basis of occupying  part of Kashmir which is under control of Indian govt.No doubt peace is necessary for the Kashmiris, and the people of South Asia and  but both  India and Pakistan still are in   difficult situation to  give benefit  to their citizens and keep busy them in  war like situation.instead of providing them sense of security through stability and  promise of a better future  both parties put them in state of troubles via implementing war strategies.
  • India and Pakistan  both  are paying for their policy mistakes. Obsessed with each other military strength,  and irrationally  engaged in an unwinnable arms race and nuclear posturing, they have neglected internal security and the social development of their people, and  placed this part of  the subcontinent  as one of the most dangerous regions in the world.
  • Super powers and many western countries exploiting  this psychology by selling arms to both. In the first six months of the 2002 conflict, Britain issued 148 military exports licenses to India and 18 to Pakistan. The US signed defense deals with both the countries during the same period. China, Russia, Israel and France are also in the fray to make money out of  madness of our leadership. These are the same countries that publicly termed South Asia as the nuclear flash point of the world, but continue to quietly sell arms to the two rivals.
  • The Pakistani army is now stretched fighting against those elements once they  had nurtured as strategic assets. Terrorist violence in Pakistan claimed nearly 4,000 civilian casualties from January 2009 to September 2010. With the country polarized along religious, ethnic and sectarian grounds, and devastating floods impacting over 20 million people this year, it will take a mammoth effort on part of the Pakistani establishment to bring the country out of its  financial whirlpool. We are left on the mercy of these terrorists and fighting the terrorist groups selectively will be hugely detrimental to Pakistan’s own cause. It is high time to get rid of policy compulsions based on enmity have left us to deal with fragmented nations on the basis of religious and ethnic differences,, tools of terror and weapons of mass destruction.
  • It is ironic that after a six decade-long rivalry India and Pakistan have no option other than to opt  long-term peace plans  if they want to focus on suppressing the violence within their respective borders. Houses should be in order by accepting all past mistakes. We need to be highlighted the human development  costs spared for civilians so that frustration of living beings of Pak India might dissipate and nothing like Tunisia or Egypt  would be seen on our roads.

Nazia as usual interesting post . My appreciation and interest is again Allah Wastay . Though war fronts of KPK and Balochistan are missing from the article , still its well managed , thoroughly researched and quite critical .

  2. Nazia says:

Thanks for all time this Allah wastay like encouraging gesture.
A help in need from indeed blogger like you.
Baluchistan issue is already been discussed in earlier post as I strongly concluded that it is Baluchistan downfall reason is put on account of richest balcoh leadership.
War on terror is still going on and I have 8 pages report on it but cant publish as some body else is using it for national cause,.This war would have more disastrous impact on our cultural , geographical and economical conditions. So time has to come for giving conclusive arguments on this war.
here important thing is what we can conclude on last useless wars.here I have to get summary of all to gather the facts and its impact on our lives and national setup and it is now Pakistan people have forgotten bout our traditional rivals and afraid of Talibans moving close to us in our society.

  3. بلوچ says:

Nazia do not you agree all the traditional rivalnes was assumption of Pakistan , it were Pakistani forces to initiate wars against their neighbors and pose a constant threat for them?
If your mad forces just stop stupid ways to show off the power I think you and your nation will enjoy much reflexed life .

    • Nazia says:

Yes it is agreed in simple border war like situation but Indian initiative toward nuclear arms and then jumping into race of purchasing arms and expanding army networks, triggers this greed of buying more weapons at the cost of human deprivation from basic facilities.
Before Kargil war Indians were quite reluctant of spending lot on such critical border areas and Kashmir insurgent found this easy loop in Indian army and guided Pak army to breach Indian security.so after this they have raised their budget and intelligence skills to make up this deficient and our military gods followed this trend blindly by ignoring all kinds of human development.
That is why I particularly mentioned all important points in my conclusions.

  4. united4justice says:

The reality of our wars can be summed up in my opinion as :

We never won a war except 1948 war , which was fought by Mehsud/Wazirsitan tribes against India and released the occupied area of Azad Kahmir from India. War of 1965 was a move by establishment to strengthen Ayub’s weak political position and they were foolishly expecting it to remain limited in Kashmir but India openned up Lahore border. 1965 was an army defeat only airforce was able to defend the country against Indian attacks and clearly dominated the air otheriwse our Army and Navy sucked big time. They say it was for Kashmir but the reality is it was 1962 where they could ve easily walked into Sirinagar without opposition as India was busy in getting punches from China and China was willing to help Pakistan against India in its own interest but Ayub didn’t do it coz his master didn’t allow it at that time. America wanted China to be weakened by India as China was just starting to rise at that time.1971m we all was a great military and political blunder of Pakistan history. 1999 again was a move to get cheap fame and false sense of glory and had nothing to do with Kashmir cause.

Air Marshal (R) Noor Khan , who was leading PAF in 1965 expressed his views on the wars of Pakistan Army :

    http://united4justice.wordpress.com/2009/10/10/an-informative-article-on-pakistan-armys-role-air-marshal-views-on-1965-war/

    • Nazia says:

I have given same statement of victory graph of 1965 war and also provided ISPR typcial statements too.
Actually if you observed carefully this was 1965 war that have started modern arm race between PAK India. That time Us equipped Pakistan with modern weapons and that caused damages to unpreapred India and they jumped into race of arms and this gave genuine reason of raising defense budget and projecting army rule in Pakistan with all kinds of blunders and crimes against state by giving it cover of strategic and natiional interests

      • faisal says:

well it was both ways as india had nuclear plans soon after their creation and they had also develop rivalry with china.

  5. united4justice says:

However no matter how bad so called our forces are , the reality is Indian establishment and RSS mentality never accepted Pakistan as a reality and Kashmiris are still fighting for the JUST cause of freedom and human rights.

Issues with India are genuine and based on the history and ideologies behind partition but the way our establishment exploited the issues made the situation worst. The exploitation of national security card by establishment is so bad that in reality it has damaged the interests of Pakistan, Kashmir and Muslims of subcontinent. Kashmiri struggle is finally going in right direction lead by civil society and youth of Kashmir but even for that pentagon puppets like Mushi tried to give it a Taliban color just to please his masters.

    • Nazia says:

How much our army and west Pakistan people showed hatred to Bengalis for their demand and division of Pakistan so that is the reason Indian establishment didn’t expect our presence and rest shortcoming of hatred is filled by army establishment which kept on striking Indians in different ways.
If we have leanrt from mistakes of 1971 and 1965 then there were no Kargil but we carried on legacy of war in our region and give birth to monstrous force of Taliban,
So you see the practical demonstration of our childhood proverb
What shall you sow, you would reap in future. So enjoy living in this country which is now become Jihaidstan of Muslim world where sons of soil are battlement against sons of guns.

      • faisal says:

” but we carried on legacy of war in our region and give birth to monstrous force of Taliban,”

birth of taliban has more to do with soviet and usa involvement in world affairs and to the fact that warlords created a chaos which paved way for a new force to emerge. pakistan etc just played supporting role and even in soviet war pakistan or usa just played supporting role for afghans. people who say it was usa or pakistan support which made the afghan victory possible should knwo that all world powers are against afghan resistance now but still they ve brought them on knees and these powers are looking for face saving. like it or not or how much disagreement i ve with their style of govt., the reality is they are the product of their soil and foreign powers can only play supporting role in the story.

      • Nazia says:

Taliban camps’ basic theme was taken from base camps in Kashmir areas where Pakistan had developed full network of insurgency for supplying man power and military aide to fighting groups in kashmir.Kashmir earthquake had heavily damaged this setup and I don’t know they have restored it or not as now they have diverted their concentration to other borders and sides too.
Here nature has given us lot of lesson as Pak army was unable to even declare that how much offciers and Jawans were died or injured in this natural disaster .So wrong inputs always produces wrong results and now even Taliban army which pleases you that they have put super power on knees. But carefully watch this put Afghanistan in stone age and if they were part of any nearby super power they might showed some kind of human development which now our govt is trying under US program..
So nobody kneel down any one but you are in process of self destruction.
Now you can see through difference of opinion of a civilian mind with any military head by reading the comments of two of us

  6. united4justice says:

India and Pakistan both need to learn from their history and give rights to the people. India cannot win by force in Kashmir, Aasam, Nagaland and whole Red corridor comprising a huge area of India including senitive areas having nuclear installations. Similarly Pakistan cannot win anything by using force in NWFP, FATA and Baluchistan.

    • Nazia says:

That is what I am saying in my last points that we have played enough games of wars on our borders and neither we could have achieved a single Kilometer of Kashmir , nor India is interested of conquering us as a mission of reunion so lets plan something different other than war games and defense deals.

      • faisal says:

well india and pakistan cannot plan n e thing for kashmir on their own. kashmir is of kashmiris and they should be given the right to decide like it was approved by UN or if some changes are required then only kashmiris can do this not india or pakistan.

      • Nazia says:

Few years back I had just met some groups in Lahore who are leading the kashmir movement since their last generation.interesting thing is they have moved their next generation to US and UK and now living on temporary basis in Lahore and kashmir for some reasons. They all time said that they are not willing to be part of Pakistan and want an ind-pendent kashmir. When I asked them the leaders who demanded like that they were clear they are paid touts of Pak army and wanted to ignite fire of terrorism there for empowering military affairs in Pakistan. Results of 1965 and kargil war also showed the same attitude of kashmiris that no revolt was observed in Indian controlled Kashmir when Pakistan made an attack on India for major reason was to project kashmir cause.

  7. بلوچ says:

Nazia these Kashmiries were right , as Pakistani intervention served nothing to their just cause rather developed confusions . further more ,today , in the modern era its impossible to enslave any nation on self interpreted religious bonding .
If you ever visited the Pakistani side of Kashmir you must have witnessed the original status of her proclaimed independence . Prime minister of Kashmir got even less powers than chairman CDA .Link roads of Banni Gala are better than Highways of Kashmir.

  8. faisal says:

“They all time said that they are not willing to be part of Pakistan and want an ind-pendent kashmir. When I asked them the leaders who demanded like that they were clear they are paid touts of Pak army and wanted to ignite fire of terrorism there for empowering military affairs in Pakistan. Results of 1965 and kargil war also showed the same attitude of kashmiris that no revolt was observed in Indian controlled Kashmir when Pakistan made an attack on India for major reason was to project kashmir cause.”

thats why i say the population should be given the right to decide and it will be there decision to go for pakistan, india or none of them.
not all are pak army men and it was clear when huryat conferece saw a divide over musharraf’s bone headed suggestions and especially the recent civl society movement is surely not army setup and its a genuine civil society especially youth and professional class movement backed by genuince social and economic problems. thats y there is more hope.

  9. faisal says:

“Taliban camps’ basic theme was taken from base camps in Kashmir areas where Pakistan had developed full network of insurgency for supplying man power and military aide to fighting groups in kashmir.Kashmir earthquake had heavily damaged this setup and I don’t know they have restored it or not as now they have diverted their concentration to other borders and sides too.”

pattern of all resistance forces are pretty much similar but the force they take lies on the ground. socio-economic environment and ideological grounds put these things in right direction. talibans like it or not are getting support from the ground and main reason like there initial rising lies in the fact that most of the pashtuns see them as a force against foreign occupation.

“Here nature has given us lot of lesson as Pak army was unable to even declare that how much offciers and Jawans were died or injured in this natural disaster .So wrong inputs always produces wrong results and now even Taliban army which pleases you that they have put super power on knees.
But carefully watch this put Afghanistan in stone age and if they were part of any nearby super power they might showed some kind of human development which now our govt is trying under US program..”

well i dont know about ur mindset but i believe even positive change if imposed from outside will not work and will result in disaster. the approach of imposing a ready made solution like we tried to impose in fata and balochistan failed badly no matter what our so called civilized society think of it. what ever improvements can come , will come only from ground and no borrowed solution can work which is designed on power points in seminar halls. you call it stone age, ask a freedom loving afghan he would prefer stones with freedom over so called comfort and development with slavery.

“So nobody kneel down any one but you are in process of self destruction.
Now you can see through difference of opinion of a civilian mind with any military head by reading the comments of two of us”

self destruction phase started when pakistan, ussr, usa, iran and others started their policies of interventionism in afghanistan and whatever we are seeing is a result of it and we need to take it. i disagree with many of the things talibans do like i disagree with many of the things usa, uk, china and others do in their lands and policies they make for their own people but it doesnt meant that i should support a use of force to impose a foreign solution over the lieves of people coz it will only result in destruction. whats good for the societies of others is not my concern at all except that one can assist them in good things and remain alien with bad actions. there r people who want their ways to implement in the name of development like we saw imposing clerk producing school system in place of madrisas. madrisa system today is not updated and needs to be revised but that revision should be based on the social conditions and the local requirements instead of making a boneheaded decision of good education system based on imperialist indoctrination of mindsets to produce slaves from assembly line. those who try to impose their will on others should ready to kneel down infront of freedom loving people.

    • Nazia says:

Self destruction of nations start when wrong men are picked for leading the nation and institutes.
Nobody welcomed Afghan and Afghan wars but military head earned billions through such wars and securing their hungry generations and this chain reaction of self destruction got its way with the help of power of media and bureaucracy by dividing share of booty from super power.Same process is going on for last 30 years that has confused or you can say divide the nation into many factions of faith.
Now border war idea has become obsolete in Pakistani soil and hatred culture for people of typical tribe, cast or faith are being targeted by Pak army and its related groups to carry on this legacy of war. Dealers of wars in Pakistan political, military and social circles still earning dollars and shifting their assets and next generation to western areas as their real home for living and they would only return to Pakistan for their burial ceremony as our last generation are doing who proudly pick their old , backwards and distorted villages to bury for getting eternal life,
Raymond case is an open example that how our whole machinery has knelt down in front of feeding powerful nations.Even this have happened in Iran like weak country, they would have hanged him till death in a weak on this open daylight crime which country like Pakistan cant even in dreams..

    to further add :

it is said that naseerullah babur of ppp created taliban , we need to know that they just used the opportunities given by afghan conditions. they didnt create talibans they supported a change (rightly or wrongly for me intervention shouldnt be made and things should ve been allowed to make their own way) , this was like india supported a change in bangladesh (but didnt create that change as grounds were set by injustices and hatred against the people of east pakistan) and similar is happening in balochistan. similarly whatever foreign intervention is , it is exploiting the injustices not creating them.

  11. Nazia says:

“Kashmir earthquake had heavily damaged this setup and I don’t know they have restored it or not as now they have diverted their concentration to other borders and sides too.”
I particularly mentioned this event as I think you know the real conditions better than me that it was one of worst awkward situation for serving people who were hurt and died there and Pakistan army was even not in position to acknowledge this human disaster as it was Pakistani people who trapped in snare which was mad their management for others.
So this is same happened in process of talibanisation and then antitalibanisation where sons of Pakistan have come across each other having arms supplied to them by Pak army or govt.
So it is all example of failures of polices or termination of strategies and we have to accept it.

  12. united4justice says:

my point was on that whatever pakistan army is doing in kashmir doesnt create a reality. surely lot is being done on both sides by pakistan and india but they just exploit the conditions which are created by injustices. the problem is we link the misadventures of paksitan army with the genuine struggle of kashmiris and try to show as if the whole struggle is bogus which is not the case. any fake struggle cannot go on for decades especially when there is a huge number of security forces trying to sabotage it.

similar is with taliban and pakistan situation. creation of taliban was a result of war lords and their brutalities against afghans and whatever pakistan was doing , it was the exploitation of internal situation like iran was using northern alliance but the real fault lies in the internal conditions.again a decade old resistance against usa and nato cannot find success without having local grounds and conditions to support it.

the point i was trying to mention is that injustices must end to ensure peace otherwise things will go bad as ever and the policy of interventionism in weaker countries must end no matter how good the plan is.

Exploitation of weak areas always produces injustice in oppressed system or any where in the world. So Pak army after 3 major wars has become aware that Kashmir people are not in favor of their accession to Pakistan. This issue was reason of expanding defence deals in both countries and placing generation of Kashmir toward more oppression and terrorism under military influence of both countries. So who is real beneficiary in this kashmir game ?
The answer would be surely Pak army who throughout exploited this weakness by making joint venture with religious parties and influxes terrorism to India in response of its military actions in Kashmir for curbing the state disturbance.

  14. faisal says:

if pak army is playing games then it doesnt make kashmiris responsible for dat. one cannot take their right away for which many in the valley are doing genuine struggle.
u cannot justify indian actions by calling it state disturbance just because ppl u dont like r supporting the struggle. this is again a social class prejudice case, just because u dont like the way of living and ideas of people going for a genuine cause u want to dump it. there are ppl who r exploiting the cause just like the idea of peace between india and pakistan being exploited to undermine the genuine injustices on ground and demands of millions living on the ground. one can argue how many want this issue to be resolved in a particular way then the answer for this question is give the right of self determination to kashmiris and they will decide their future themselves.
defence deal benefits for generals or others and other misfortunes are result of the mess and the real mess is created by not giving kashmiris their rights. indian terrorism is state terrorism and if any power no matter how big it is involves in a dirty game then they will ve to face the brunt of it just like we faced in bangladesh and are facing in fata and balochistan but our pseudo liberals ve their own world of hypocrisies. justice and basic human rights for many are related to their idea of human beings i.e. who they give the honor of being a human or not.

  15. Nazia says:

Kashmir is part of india and whole world has no doubt about it.Pakistan if through war games could have it then we can think of claiming like that so KAshmir is on Indian map for last many decades. This is reality and we have to accept it other than emotional dialogs.
If we are in stable state of peace and our all areas would have showing ideal picture of living than we can think of making demand of Kashmir so in this state of destruction Kashmirs are not fool enough demand support from Pakistan and its army. Some armed and religious groups working in Kashmirs since its creation surely need this area of contention to stay alive as their survival dependent on it that is why this issue is kept alive otherwise this turmoil condition has left no interest to even think of problems of Kashmir.
After swat operation we have lost all rights of supporting Kashmirs as India is laughing on us that how we handled few thousands insurgents in our peaceful valley,Swat war clearly explains that where we dump our arms which we justified through heavy defense budgets. This time no try on India but our people are being tested with this arms industry.

why not make it official by giving kashmiris the right to decide?

“If we are in stable state of peace and our all areas would have showing ideal picture of living than we can think of making demand of Kashmir so in this state of destruction Kashmirs are not fool enough demand support from Pakistan and its army. Some armed and religious groups working in Kashmirs since its creation surely need this area of contention to stay alive as their survival dependent on it that is why this issue is kept alive otherwise this turmoil condition has left no interest to even think of problems of Kashmir.”

y ur assuming that they will go for pakistan? what if they go for an independent kashmir. let the kashmiris decide what was promised to them in 1948 UN resolutions and games which india / pakistan play with each other should not be made an excuse of depriving kashmiris of their rights.

“After swat operation we have lost all rights of supporting Kashmirs as India is laughing on us that how we handled few thousands insurgents in our peaceful valley,Swat war clearly explains that where we dump our arms which we justified through heavy defense budgets. This time no try on India but our people are being tested with this arms industry.”

crimes of pakistani state and institutions cannot take away the rights of kahmiris.

  17. united4justice says:

this approach is similar of using the mistakes of sardars to justify the injustices state and its institutions are doing with balochistan. things should be seen on their own merit instead of cancelling them out with each other especially when humans are involved.

What a statement that Pakistan has won the war over Kashmir in 1947-48.What a poor and prejudiced knowledge of Pakistanis on this matter .Firstly,Indian army was not at all present in Kashmir before October 1947..Secondly. Pakistan army in disguise of Tribesmen attacked and annexed that part of Kashmir by driving out Maharaja Harisingh’s forces , not Indian army.Till that time, Kashmir was not a part of India. On signing the official instrument of accession only, Indian army were invited and authorized to fight Pakistan army and clear that part of kashmir, including Skardu and Gilgit by Maharaja Harisingh. Rajouri town was re-captured by Indian forces. It was timid and coward Jawaharlal Nehru who halted indian advance by declaring the cease-fire and taking matter to UN. OTHERWISE, INDIAN ARMY WOULD HAVE LIBERATED WHOLE OF KASHMIR INCLUDING GILGIT,BALTISTAN AND SKARDU AND MUZZAFARABAD.

    • Nazia says:

By the way your jawaharlal Nehru had known for his Indian nationality and patriotism since his birth and death in India. His family is still top political family of India.
In war it doesn’t matter whether they disguised or showed real faces but victory figures count only. so no need to spit anger on past and it has gone long ago.

      • gotya says:

Thanks for your reply.Jawaharlal Nehru was faulty on two counts.Firstly, he okeyed for Jinnah’s Pakistan and got the country divided for his own power ambitions.Secondly, he did not allow the use of air power both in Kashmir and China war which resulted in huge causalities of army.Only Indira Gandhi was an exception to Nehru’s legacy. She handled Pakistan with a iron hand in 1971 taking a punga even with Mr. Nixon of US. At least, she got rid of Pakistani threat on its eastern front permanently. Kashmir problem could have solved during Shimla agreement with Z A Bhutto in 1972. That is only a regret. Kargil war was finally won by India and Pakistani army had to retreat back to their original LOC position.Back-stabbing is a habit of Musharaff who did not face 1971 war.

  19. Nazia says:

I am not good history student but read that
In 1947 army that was fighting in J&K then was headed still by a British and with Mountbatten still present in India, there was no control for Nehru.Nehru at that time was under control of mrs Mountbatten .
The army fought in Kashmir did not hear Nehru’s orders to proceed further.Nehru trusted more his friend Sheikh Abdulla then Raja of Kashmir who was afraid of both friendship
. Sheikh Abdulla commanded great following among Kashmir Muslims those days. Based on the trust, Nehru promised plebiscite in the UN. But it was Sheikh who changed his word and started dreaming a separate Kashmir.
Nehru then jailed Sheikh Abdulla and refused to hold a plebiscite in 1953 within 5 years of proposing the same.
Division of India and subsequent bloody riots it self political failures of Indian leadership from both side and sufferers were Kashmirs who are still facing the wrath of terrorism from both side of border. Indians are suppressing them through army and Pakistan through her insurgency.
Kargil was display of traditional stupidity of generals when they get something better in war fare they open a front to show their fake teeth.this time teeth were broken and Kashmir conflict took more bad shape than past.
